just a glimpse

Things are so very busy and will continue to be busy into the summer...but YEA! it will be summer! including yesterday, we have 3 weekends with showers, 2 weeding/couple and 1 for baby! the last shower falls on a weekend that we will be out of town (first weekend in June) a friend coming to visit during the week and TO THE RIVER the next weekend, then a wedding (YEA! Caleb and Gabi!) and Father's day...that's just the weekends, there are birthdays for the 1st 3 weeks in June and at least 1 in July. And even though it will be very busy, I am so excited about our summer there will be so many firsts for all three of us!!
We just need to get to summer first; work is EXTREMELY BUSY and will be up until the very last day; June 5th.
Our days and weeks are very busy right now but LIFE IS GRAND!!!!

something neat!

A few of us from work took a personal day yesterday for a day in San Antonio. We got back late, Mike picked up Mikenna and went to mom's because our niece Bristin was there. I picked up dinner and met them there! But it was almost 7 when I got there, we ate and mom and Bristin left for class. we grabbed our stuff and headed out later.
Since we were so late getting to class, I stayed in Cradle role with Mom, Bristin and Mikenna. there were only the 4 of us there.
I have always loved the way my mom interacts with children and seeing her with Mikenna is so very awesome. But last night I got to watch her teach her granddaughters about God and sing the little songs...The look on her face as I watched her sing and teach was just so fabulous! She has great love for God and so much love for her grandkids that when it comes together...just beautiful!!!
